I don't plan to be perfect. If I am close 5 out of 7 days I will be happy.

I have updated the above chart I work of because I've been eating around 1250 calories a day. It's difficult to eat so few carbs because I like veggies. I expect to increase carbs/veggies once i am settled in ketosis.

This is the last day I will publish all these details. It's just not working for me and that's not good for my mood or my head. My calories went ballistic today because I decided to have a smoothie with extra fat. I believe in ketogenic diets but I'm not sure I've been going about this the right way for me.

I'm going back to what I was eating 2 or 3 weeks ago and looking at it carefully. Somewhere in there is close to my optimal way of losing weight. Oh did I mention I am maintaining my current weight perfectly. That's fine since I'm more than 27kg lighter than at the start of 2012. It's just that the job I began is not finished.

I don't plan to be perfect. If I am close 5 out of 7 days I will be happy.

I have updated the above chart I work of because I've been eating around 1250 calories a day. It's difficult to eat so few carbs because I like veggies. I expect to increase carbs/veggies once i am settled in ketosis.

Fasting Blood ketones = 0.1 my target is 1.5.   ..... LOWEST EVER. No doublt because i snacked on all kinds of things including icecream, rice crackers, dried figs and dark chocolate. There is a limit to how much snacking anyone should do. 

I've been all over the place food wise and not much exercise either. When I'm not tracking there's something wrong.

I let myself become stressed to the point of not coping with life.

Fasting Blood ketones = 0.2 my target is 1.5 ......... My low readings are becoming frustrating. What's going on?

No point in recording anything more today. Lunch in a Café Crumbed and breaded calamari and delicious salad, with cappuccino. Dinner a tasting plate with camembert, cucumber, cherry tomato, olives, rice crackers. Strawberries and cream with grated chocolate and chopped almonds. No exercise except a little walking around town. 3 appointments. One pampering, two demanding.

Somewhat stressed. Selling Mum's house is getting to me. Not the need to sell. Of course there is some emotional stuff around that but that's not the issue at present and I am not too bothered about that. It's getting through family stuff and getting agreement and all the stupid, to me, stuff that goes on. Like one person buying new duvet covers and sheets after I told her I have some here that are suitable. If she wants to waste money I don't care about that but it's the asinine way some of them are going about setting up the house for viewing. The selling part cannot be over fast enough for me.

It seems I am starting off again to get into nutritional ketosis or the super fat burning state.  2 weeks with an average reading of 1-5 is my goal. Hopefully there won't be too many more hiccups this month.
