1st May, 2013 - I stopped taking all BP medication April 17th. This is a bit of a gamble since I do not have medical confirmation. I do have a home BP monitor and all looks well but as yet it has not been tested at the doctor's rooms.
1st June 2013 - Continuing to not take meds. Monitor has been checked and is accurate. Readings are on the high side but Jane agrees they are not too bad.

26TH JUNE 2013. 

BP readings are very similar to when I was on medication. It is now more than 2 months since I took either Plendil or Accupril. Today's reading is 14575 Compare that with 12 months ago.

My weight is somewhat stuck but is much better than for many years. I have a flat belly in my clothes. Arms not quite as huge. I am still a fatty and carry at least 15 kg more than is good for me.

Fasting Blood ketones = 0.1 ..... my target is 1.50    Oooops! Now I have to work at getting the numbers up there again. Travelling is a challenge.

BP 123/71 .... and this was mid morning at least half an hour after breakfast.

Greg drove us to Auckland, or at least our hotel near the airport. This involved Restaurant lunch. Later we had fish and chips in the Hotel restaurant and I drank wine and hot chocolate.

Yesterday we had a morning flight to Christchurch. Hotel breakfast of black coffee and an omelet. Food Court lunch of spinach and lamb salad. Too sweet with honey mustard dressing and very little meat. Dinner was a steak with cauliflower and carrot. This morning I had a smoothie and am looking at Jimmy Moore's Meal plans while we are here.

12th January, 2013 ..... another med change by self. I only take Accupril occasionally if at all. Still on Plendil 2.5mg until BP checked. Resumed Accupril for now. BP was creeping up.
1st May, 2013 - I stopped taking all BP medication April 17th. This is a bit of a gamble since I do not have medical confirmation. I do have a home BP monitor and all looks well but as yet it has not been tested at the doctor's rooms.
